Conference on Education in the Light of Information Technologies (BTIE'23)
Rapidly developing transformative technologies facilitate human life in every field and increase the quality and efficiency of education and training with the unlimited possibilities they provide. Education and training activities supported by digital transformation technologies in parallel with technological developments constitute the basis of student-oriented and memorization-free education.
Organized by the Informatics Association of Turkey (TBD) for both raising qualified human resources and increasing the employment of young people with digital skills, BTIE'23, "Education in the Light of Information Technologies Conference and Exhibition", where the latest developments in Information and Communication Technologies meet education, will be held on 6-7 October 2023 at TÜİK Main Conference Hall.
Within the scope of the conference; academic and technological studies, seminars, success stories, panels, workshops, workshops, school / company participations will take place, the solutions and contributions of information technologies to education for the training of qualified human resources with analytical thinking and digital skills will be evaluated and the action plans that need to be made in the education system for the digital Turkey journey will be created with common sense.

📚 Seminars and Success Stories: Seminars and success stories of prominent experts in the field will show how information technologies are successfully applied in education.
🌐 Panels and Workshops: Panels and workshops with the participation of educators, academics, industry representatives and students will discuss how digital transformation in education can be directed.
🏫 School/Company Participations: There will be presentations and experience sharing on how different schools and companies provide a more effective education with information technologies.
🔍 Contributions of Information Technologies to Education: The role of information technologies in developing analytical thinking and digital skills will be evaluated with examples.
🌍 Digital Turkey Journey: Action plans in the education system will discuss how we can move towards the goal of digital Turkey more effectively with common sense.

Conference Procedure
TBD will act in accordance with the KVKK rules at the BTIE23 conference, as it does in dozens of large-scale events it organizes every year, and it will be ensured that each participant reads and approves the clarification text on KVKK during conference registration.
Our conference will be held in TÜİK Conference Halls and the security facilities of these halls will ensure that the life and property safety of the participants will be protected in the best way possible in case of a possible unexpected situation.
For our disabled participants who will attend our conference, the existing infrastructure of TurkStat will be used to ensure that our disabled participants can attend our event without any problems.
Free tea, coffee, water and cake will be served during the breaks and lunch will be provided. TBD will use its own resources for this purpose and will find sponsors if necessary.

Our Summit has been postponed to a later date due to the earthquake disaster affecting 10 provinces, especially Kahramanmaraş.
