Ahmet TOSUNOĞLU
He graduated from Ankara University Computer Programming and Anadolu University Faculty of Economics. He completed his master's degree at Bahçeşehir University Institute of Social Sciences Master of Business Administration (MBA) Program. He started his career as a Computer Programmer at Grolier Hachette A.Ş. He then worked as System Analyst, Project Manager and IT Manager at Alemdar Holding A.Ş., respectively. He served as the General Manager of Uzman Bilgi Teknolojileri Eğitim ve Danışmanlık Ltd. for five years. He worked as IT Coordinator at Alemdar Holding A.Ş. and as Advisor to the Mayor responsible for IT at Kartal Municipality. He worked as Information Systems Manager at İGDAŞ Istanbul Gaz Dağıtım A.Ş. He then worked as Information Systems Director/CIO at ATASAY Holding A.Ş.
Since the establishment of the Istanbul Branch of the Turkish Informatics Association, he served on the Board of Directors and Audit Committees. He served as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of TBD Istanbul Branch for two terms.
He worked as a lecturer at Marmara University Vocational School of Technical Sciences and served as a member of the Advisory Board. He also served on the Sector Advisory Board of Bahçeşehir University Vocational High School. He was a member of the Advisory Board of Marmara Municipalities Union Smart Municipalism Summit and volunteered as a Mentor at Fatih Municipality YEPGEM. He served as the Head of Organization at Istanbul Informatics Congress, Smart Cities Congress, Informatics Stars e-Transformation Competition and CIO Vision events.
In 2012, he was awarded "CIO of the Year" by Dünya Newspaper.
Ahmet Tosunoğlu, who is the Chief Auditor of ISO/IEC 27001:2013 Information Security Management System and ISO/IEC 27701:2019 Personal Data Management System, is currently a member of the Central Board of Directors of the Informatics Association of Turkey and General Manager of HOBİM Arşivleme ve Basım Hizmetleri A.Ş. Ahmet Tosunoğlu also teaches "Information Technology Standards and Audit Skills" in Bahçeşehir University Information Law Master's Program.
