Objective:
Information, like other assets in the organization, is an asset that is important for the organization and therefore needs to be protected in the best way. Information security ensures that information is protected from a wide range of risks in order to ensure the continuity of business in the organization, to reduce disruptions to business and to increase the benefit from investments.

The most widely used standards for information security management are the "ISO/IEC 27001 Information Security Management System standards. This standard includes requirements and recommendations for the establishment, operation and improvement of a successful information security management system in enterprises.

This training is based on the ISO/IEC 27001 standard. In this training, it is aimed to explain the basics of the Information Security Management System structure compliant with ISO27001:2013 and the basic principles of information security management and to internalize them with application examples.

At the end of the training, participants will have the knowledge to establish an Information Security Management System in their businesses.

The objectives of the training are:

• Understanding the basic concepts of Information Security,
• Identification of information assets and security risks on them,
• Analyzing information security risks with asset-based approaches,
• Understanding how to meet the mandatory clauses of the ISO27001 standard in a well-functioning ISMS,
• Understanding of ISO27001 documentation requirements,
• Ensuring that the whole training is given with practical applications and examples derived from real scenarios so that the participants internalize what is explained

Participation:
As the number of participants is limited, advance registration is required.
A certificate of participation is presented at the end of the program. TBD Istanbul reserves the right to change the training venue or instructor, cancel or postpone the program when necessary.

For more than 30 years, he has worked as a software developer, system analyst and IT Manager in various projects and installation works in public institutions and organizations.

He is the Chief Auditor, trainer and consultant for ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System, ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System, ISO OHSAS 18001:2007 Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems and 27001:2013 Information Security Management System.
